many of the things that I learn in school I would rather not have to stress myself out about learning: the unit circle, series and sequences, how to balance chemical equations, the precise location of elements on the periodic table, how to determine a function from a non-function, how to build a bridge out of balsa wood, why certain elements react differently with other ones, how to simplify equations, pretty much anything to do with precalculus.
things that everyone should have to learn:how to deal with a bad break up, how to be financially independent, to not trust people without knowing them well, and to not let your guard down easily. how to be prepared for college, how to change a flat tire, how to deal with disappointment, how to take care of someone else, how to not judge a book by its cover, and most importantly how to love :)
